We try to make sure everything we say about a product on our website is correct: prices, pictures, features, and availability. However, in some cases, products can seem a little different in their images due to lighting, display settings, or manufacturing batch changes. We reserve the right to change any description or price, or availability without prior notice. Until the order is confirmed, the availability of goods and services cannot be guaranteed.

All prices on the website are listed in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) inclusive of applicable local taxes. The Prices may be subjected to change at any time without prior notice. Any discounted or promotional prices will be applicable only for a specified time or while stocks last. 

5. Payment Terms

We have secure payment methods available, including local and international methods. 

Payment must be made in full either at the time of purchase or at the time of delivery of product. Your transaction will be secured using industry-standard encryption protocol through one of our trusted third-party gateways. You will receive an email confirming your order details, upon successful payment.

Ocean Trekking Gear will not be held responsible for processing delays or the incurrence of failed payments caused by third-party service providers.

6. Order Processing & Cancellation

When you place an order, we will process it within 1-2 business days.

Once your order is confirmed and dispatched, you will be notified via SMS, email, or phone call.

Cancellation of an Order:

If you want to cancel or change any order, please contact us immediately. Cancellation may not be possible once the order has been shipped. We reserve the right to cancel any order for reasons of unavailability, suspicious activity, or technical errors. If, for whatever reason, we cancel an order, a full refund will be made if the payments were made successfully.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Ocean Trekking Gear promises delivery to you of the finest trekking and outdoor gear locally and internationally. Delivery can be tailored to your time and location.

Standard Delivery (Within Nepal), processed within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery, depending on your location, takes from 2 to 5 working days. Shipping charges for your respective address will be calculated at checkout page. You will be provided with tracking details via E-mail or SMS once dispatched. International shipping usually allows tracking after 2-4 days once it's available by the delivery company.


Urgent Delivery (Within Kathmandu Valley)

Urgent delivery services are offered within the Kathmandu Valley through partnered express services such as Pathao, InDrive, or other trusted couriers.

How to avail this service:

Customers are required to pay the total amount in advance online, for instance, through eSewa, Khalti, Bank Transfer or Etc. In the Thamel area of Kathmandu, cash-on-delivery service is offered; in any other areas, there is no cash-on-delivery option. Based on the actual rates shown by the selected urgent delivery provider- Pathao, InDrive, or any other trusted courier, the delivery fee shall be charged. Delivery charges are borne by the customer and shall either have to be paid in advance or directly to the courier as instructed. Urgent delivery timings depend on courier availability and traffic conditions.

International Delivery

We feel gratified to be able to offer overseas shipping anywhere in the world. Kindly note the below to ensure an effortless process. The international shipping costs will vary with the destination country, size, weight of the item being shipped, and courier availability. So, after shipping quotes are confirmed, a full advance payment has to be made by the customer for the entire charges, including the full cost of the product and shipping charges. Payment can be made via any of the online payment methods approved by us (international bank transfers, digital wallet, or card payments). The orders will be dispatched only after payment has been fully received from the customer. The customers have to bear any customs duty, VAT charges, import fees, or any other charge imposed by their country.

We provide you with detailed cost estimates and delivery options based on your location and the selection of your product.

Note that delivery schedules will vary from country to country, depending on customs procedures and courier schedules. So we will try our best to ensure smooth and timely delivery. 8. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you'd like to carry out a return or exchange of an item:

Return/Exchange Eligibility:

You must contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. Items must be unused, returned in original packaging, and in resalable condition; otherwise, return of the product shall be denied. 

Proof of purchase must be presented with the tag on one of the products as per the conditions of purchase. Non-returnable Items: Used items; Arms or feet (worn) products; Customized or clearance items.

Process: 

You must send an email to [email protected]  with your order number and reason for return. Return shipping costs go at the expense of the customer unless the item arrived defective, appeared to be indicated as proofed, or was shipped incorrectly. A refund or replacement will take place as applicable upon their inspection after we have received it.

9. Warranty and Repairs

There is a manufacturerโ€™s warranty for some of our products. Please check the product page for warranty information.

Note: Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Normal wear and tear or damages due to misuse or external factors will not be covered. For repair inquiries, kindly reach out to us with photos and a detailed description of what matters.

Any content appearing on our website, comprising logos, graphics, product names, designs, text, and images, shall be the property of Ocean Trekking Gear and shall be protected under copyright and trademark laws.

You agree not to: Use our website in any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful way. Try to access areas of the site which are restricted. Transmit any viruses or malicious code. Use our brand assets or product images for commercial purposes without permission. Violation of these conditions is grounds for the suspension of your account and further legal action.

While Ocean Trekking Gear endeavors to provide accurate information and a reliable service, we shall not be liable for any Delays by shipping providers.
